Itineraries for North Korea
Asia Pacific Travel has posted its new and revised (as of April 25th) North Korea travel itineraries for the 2010 season (see below).
In January and February we received word from the Korea International Travel Company (KITC) in Pyongyang that Americans will now be allowed to:
1) Visit the DPRK all year long (vs. only in August to September);
2) At the same prices they charge Europeans and Japanese (vs. a higher price for Americans); and
3) For up to 7-10 days (vs. only 5 days previously).
Unfortunately they have not changed their policy forbidding Americans to take the train in and out of the DPRK.
Please note that the Arirang mass performance season, one of the highlights of a tour to the DPRK, is scheduled from August 1st through September 30th again this year (although in 2009 the dates were later changed to August 10th through October 17th).
Asia Pacific Travel, the most experienced American tour operator to the DPRK (since 1995), can arrange for tourists from any country except South Korea to visit the DPRK any time of the year, either on one of our group tours or individually.
PLEASE SELECT A DATE RANGE BELOW TO SEE AVAILABLE TOURS FOR THAT TIME PERIOD.
