OCTOBER TOUR HIGHLIGHTS OF NORTH KOREA TOUR

This standard tour is recommended for those who want a comprehensive overview of North Korea. Fall has the best weather in North Korea. It is open to all nationalities except South Korean citizens (for whom there is a separate North Korean host organization).

ROUTING: (Own air to) Beijing, China; (Group air to) Pyongyang, Nampo, Kaesong, Panmunjom, Myohyang, Pyongyang, North Korea; (Group air to) Beijing, China; (Own air home).

SIGHTSEEING will include the highlights of North Korea. This carefully planned tour includes 8 days in North Korea.

The tour is scheduled to be escorted by Walter L. Keats, a North Korea expert and an experienced tour leader who has visited North Korea over 25 times since 1995.

PRICE: US$TBA - 2011 price was $2,994 per person based on double occupancy (see itinerary for details); single supplement $TBA - 2011 price was $465. In addition to all expenses in North Korea and most expenses in China (per the itinerary), the tour price includes coach airfare from Beijing to Pyongyang, and from Pyongyang to Beijing. It does not include inbound or outbound airfare to or from Beijing. Optional pre- and post- travel plans to South Korea, China, Japan, Mongolia and other East Asian destinations can also be arranged utilizing Asia Pacific Travel's over 30 years experience designing custom travel to East Asia.

RESERVATIONS: must be made by Friday, August 31st to allow time for DPRK group visa processing.

Tour participants must join the group in Beijing by Thursday evening, October 4th. The tour begins and ends in Beijing.
